Netherlands: lessons from failure


The Oranje left the competition prematurely after failing due to a fact of a match.

It is perhaps the country which can legitimately deplore the postponement of the Euro. If it had initially taken place a year ago, the Henri Delaunay Trophy could have been lifted by the Dutch. No need to redo history unnecessarily but with Ronald Koeman, who preferred to swap the orange for the Blaugrana, the face of the Netherlands would have been different. Football is cruel and major competitions favor observations favoring the culture of the moment.
