NBA: Nigerian Ime Udoka new coach of the Boston Celtics

Nigerian Ime Udoka is the new coach of the Boston Celtics. The Massachusetts franchise has indeed formalized the arrival of his eighteenth coach, this Monday, June 28, in a press conference. And the 43-year-old man declined his ambitions for his new team; he says he wants to lead the Celtics to success.

To do this, the native of Portland relies on the tenors of Boston namely Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart. Udoka also confides that he has a “Natural connection with these players” that he had to rub shoulders with during his time in the Usa team alongside Gregg Popovich.

However, the former Laker intends to infuse “A defensive mentality” to his team. The Celtics really need it. Since they were eliminated in the first round of the Playoffs by the Nets.
