Haucourt-Moulaine. The Longwy Archer-club changes its name and municipality

It all started more than a year ago when the City of Longwy, in agreement with the National Education, decided to take over the premises of the Pulventeux school allocated to the Archer-club association of Longwy for 27 years. (the class located on the ground floor serving as a training room for archery in the evening) in order to dispose of it for a disabled child.

As the City has no other premises to offer immediately, the sports club has decided to change its municipality and name after a virtual extraordinary assembly to change the statutes. Following its declaration in the sub-prefecture, the association has been called since May 8 “Archer-club Haucourt-Moulaine”.

A new ground

The club was received by the mayor Alain Lombardi and a very nice municipal team and attentive to their problems. For the president, Frédéric Nihotte, and his office, it seemed normal to abandon the Longwy name and change the club logo. The association will also leave the ground rue de la Frontière under the playground at 1is September, the commune of Haucourt offering more interesting land and possibilities.

As a result, the indoor shooting competitions in Bassompierre at the beginning of January and the field shooting in the ramparts on Ascension Thursday will no longer take place, replaced by a competition at the Garonne room in Saint-Charles and around the Château de Cons-la-Grandville. As for the 3D competition, it will be held at the end of September in Moulaine.
