Christian Pulisic scored the winning goal for the United States national team in the CONCACAF Nations League final. This became a series of success after helping Chelsea win the Champions League.

America meets Mexico at Empower Field at Mile High, Denver, Monday (7/6/2021) morning WIB, in the final round. Pulisic et al. advanced after beating Honduras in the semifinals and Mexico eliminating Costa Rica.

Jesus Manuel Corona managed to bring Mexico 1-0 up in the second minute. America forced the first half to finish 1-1 through Giovanni Reyna’s goal in the 27th minute.

Mexico again winning 2-1 in the 72nd minute Diego Lainez’s goal. Weston McKennie then equalized the score 2-2 in the 82nd minute and made the game go to 2×15 minutes of extra time.

America was finally able to turn ahead 3-2 in the 114th minute. Pulisic scored from the penalty spot after his shot into the top left of goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa had been blocked.

Mexico actually had a chance to equalize in injury time in the fourth minute of the second half of added time. Unfortunately for Mexico, the execution of Andres Guardado’s penalty could be ignored by Ethan Horvath. America also won.

Christian Pulisic is in the spotlight in this match. In addition to scoring the winning goal, the American captain also previously successfully helped Chelsea win the Champions League.
