Four years after winning his last game at the All England Club, Andy Murray raised his arms again at Wimbledon, with a hopeful victory against Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili (6-4, 6-3 and 5-7 and 6-3).
The Brit, who has a prosthetic hip, had not played the singles tournament at Wimbledon since 2017, when he gave up in the quarterfinals. The successor to Fred Perry 77 years later, he emerged on Wimbledon center court as in his prime.
