The sensational return is a done deal: Ex-Bayern coach Carlo Ancelotti will coach Real Madrid for the second time after Zinédine Zidane’s departure.
Former Bayern coach Carlo Ancelotti returns to the Spanish record champions Real Madrid. The 61-year-old Italian was signed as the new coach, said the club of international Toni Kroos on Tuesday evening.
Ancelotti had previously terminated his contract with the English first division club Everton by mutual agreement. Ancelotti was already the coach of the “Royal” between 2013 and 2015.
He replaces Zinédine Zidane, who prematurely terminated his contract and subsequently had complained in a bitter farewell letter about the leadership of Real Madrid.
