CAMPOFRANCO. A free BLSD first aid course is planned in Campofranco in collaboration with FIJLKAM – Italian Federation of Judo, Wrestling, Karate Martial Arts Sicily – and with the patronage of the Regional Red Cross and the Rotary of Palermo.
The course will take place next Saturday 19 June and teaches how to help those affected by heart attack through cardiopulmonary resuscitation and defibrillation. To obtain the feasibility of the course, a minimum number of 10 participants and up to a maximum of 15 must be reached.
“The hope – said Mayor Pitanza – is that there are problems with an abundance of participants, because when it comes to helping each other, especially in these circumstances, we cannot withdraw with a moral and social duty that must come out. At the end of the course, a public demonstration of martial arts and a self-defense of the person will also be offered ”.
