The future of Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos, has finally been answered in the near future.

Through the club’s official website, Real Madrid announced that Ramos will leave the Santiago Bernabeu starting the 2021-2022 season.

Quoted from BolaSport.com from the official Real Madrid website, Los Blancos said that there would be a press conference and farewell chaired by president Florentino Perez on Thursday (17/6/2021) at 12.30 local time.

“Real Madrid CF announces that tomorrow, Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 12.30, there will be an institutional act of respect and farewell to our captain Sergio Ramos, in the presence of our president Florentino Perez,” read a Real Madrid statement.

“Furthermore, Sergio Ramos will appear before the media at a virtual press conference,” read a Real Madrid statement.

Ramos has played for Los Blancos for almost 16 years since signing from Sevilla in 2005.
