Bornauw transfer: VfL informs Cologne

VfL Wolfsburg is taking concrete steps to recruit Sebastiaan Bornauw. As the ‘kicker’ reports, the wolves have informed 1. FC Köln about their plan to sign the 22-year-old central defender. The general interest of VfL has been circulating since yesterday, Tuesday.

For their part, the Cologne-based company would let Bornauw move until 2024 with a corresponding offer (according to reports, 15 to 20 million euros transfer fee) despite the contract. A potential successor FC is already hooked with Timo Hübers (24). According to the ‘Sportbuzzer’, the 24-year-old is coming free of charge from Hannover 96.
