The new venue with capacity for 3,500 people, 8 courts and a commercial area, will only receive a limited number of people during the Tennis Open in Los Cabos, said the mayor of the municipality. “We will do the same with the protocols and looking for the opportunities and means to carry out this event without putting citizens at risk. We must take advantage of technology and work with platforms to do an important event in different circumstances and taking care of the rules established by the Health sector ”, said the president of Los Cabos.

The event will take place from June 19-24 and to respect the sanitary protocols, only the assistance of the players, sponsors and support person will be allowed so that the event runs smoothly.

These indications were defined during a meeting, which was headed by Castro Guzmán, as well as the director of ATP 250, Jose Antonio Fernandez Celorio, among other event organizers.

But the fans will not be completely out of the event, said Fernández Celorio, who reported that this year, they will be held activities so that fans can be close to their favorite tennis players.

It should be noted that both the players and the staff of the event will be taking place mock PCR and antigen tests, while the facilities will be constantly disinfected and the use of face masks will be mandatory, they reported.
