The judo suits are put on again after the forced Corona break. The association receives an honorable task from the Hessian Judo Association.
TOUGH – (red). After the judo suits of the judo lions from the TV contractions had to hang on the hook during the corona break, they can slowly be put on again for regular training. Not only the judoka, but also the trainers are happy to be active on the judo mat again.
Judo department can show successes
The judo department, which was founded in 2009, can look back on considerable successes on a national and international level. This is certainly one of the reasons why the Hessian Judo Association has given TV Wehen responsibility for organizing an U15 e-cadre training and has chosen the club as the location of the base training.
The training is led by the national trainer Dominik Riedel with the support of the Wehner competition trainer Brigitte Sedelmair, who has many years of experience as a Bundesliga fighter. As a result of the base training, judoka from the surrounding clubs will meet once a week at TV Wehen for joint competition training.
Not only championship successes are important to the coaching staff, but also the further development of each individual judoka in the department. Belt tests are to be taken regularly in the judo department, according to a message from the gymnastics club. In addition to the judo sport itself, good youth work is important to those responsible in the department, which is reflected in tent camps or in swimming pool visits. With the start of training, the judo department offers beginner courses for all age groups (from four years of age) to learn the sport of judo.
