An American Cadet Faster Than Usain Bolt – Fil Info

The 17-year-old American Erriyon Knighton ran the 200m in 20 sec 11 on the night of Monday to Tuesday in Jacksonville (Florida), seizing the unofficial cadet world record (U18) which belonged to sprint legend Usain Bolt. With his time of 20.11 (+1.6 m / s), Knighton did a little better than the 20.13 (zero wind) achieved by Jamaican Usain Bolt in July 2003, a month before turning 17.

Nugget of the US sprint, Knighton, born in January 2004, has a record in 10 sec 16 over 100 m (he has already run in 9.99 with a too favorable wind) and in 47 sec 48 over 400 m. At the same meeting, the American world champion Grant Holloway won the 110m hurdles in 13 sec 10 ahead of his compatriot Devon Allen (13.22).
