Germany 2010 was the first championship in which the Czechs and Finns collided in the quarterfinals. For the Czech team, it was a revenge for a bitter defeat 0: 2 in the quarterfinals of the Olympics in Vancouver a few months earlier.
The Czech national team did not do well in an unforgettable tournament, which many compare to this year’s. After defeats with Norway and Switzerland, she had a knife in her neck in the last two matches against Latvia and Canada.
She went to the playoffs and in the quarterfinals she turned the match against the Finns, who led from the first minute.
