the favorites kept their place in the qualifications of the elite Swiss championships

The Neuchâtelois have experienced varying fortunes in qualifying for the elite Swiss championships in Yverdon-les-Bains. If the favorites have held their rank, no outsider has managed to create a surprise by snagging a ticket for the finals. These will take place in Brig (VS), the weekend of June 5 and 6.

In the absence of Sabrina Jaquet, five Neuchâtelois will appear in the main draw. BC La Chaux-de-Fonds will be represented by its two routiners Gilles Tripet (men’s doubles) and Mathias Bonny (men’s and mixed doubles). The two Chaux-de-Fonniers were exempt from qualifying because of their good ranking and did not have to travel to Vaud.

Lucie Amiguet in the three disciplines

For its part, BC Neuchâtel will send three badists to Valais. Already qualified for the men’s doubles, the brothers Maxime and Loris Pierrehumbert have successfully validated their ticket in the men’s singles.

Finally, the young Lucie Amiguet (16) confirmed her progress by securing the qualification in the three disciplines.
