The Aragonese judo returned to compete a year and a half later – Sports

During the afternoon of Saturday in the town of Zaragozana de Monzalbarba the Judo competition was resumed at the Aragonese level, after a year and a half without regional competitions, under rigorous sanitary control the federation has decided to activate the competitions for the remainder of the season .

During the afternoon of Saturday they fought for a place to go to the Spanish championship, on the part of the Ibón Club School a team participated that in most cases are still in the cadet category but given the uncertainty of the moment they have jumped into the Junior competition, to start activating and fighting.

The Ibón team is made up of three girls and six boys, their performance has been incredible, obtaining six medals. Raquel Miret (-78) returned to the top of the podium like Alba Ramirez (-52kg) after winning her fights for the highest score, bad luck for Veronica Blanco (-57kg) who after winning in the league To which in the end it would be gold for a triple tie in score, a penalty remained third, but great sensations since their opponents are consolidated juniors.

As for the boys, Lorien Jimenez (-66kg) reached the final winning the fights by ippon but in the final in a fight of almost twice the time since they were tied at the end he lost, even so, an achievement as a cadet and his adversary a junior of last year a very fought silver. In the -73 kg category we have three representatives Sergio Benedi who unfortunately injured his shoulder and could not finish the competition, Lorien Mur a great signing, who has a lot of desire and attitudes and in the cadet perhaps he will have more luck and Jorge Martín that winning at the beginning, he could only be fifth. In the competition of (-81kg) Diego Calle winning two fights for Ippon and losing another stayed in the third drawer and Javier García Spain who also won his fights for Ippon until the final losing but a silver in the junior that tastes like gold to a cadet.

So the coaches María and Raúl Poblador returned home with two golds, two silvers and two bronzes and with great enthusiasm for the return to competition and very good feelings.
