PSSI Ensures Elkan Baggott Cannot Fulfill the Call of the Indonesian National Team in Dubai

Bola.com, Jakarta – Elkan Baggott’s fate clarity on Indonesian National team began to see a bright spot. The 18-year-old defender could not fulfill the call for the 2022 Asia Zone World Cup Qualifiers.

Elkan Baggott has been eagerly awaited Indonesian National team. This is because King’s Lynn Town latch is the only player who has not joined Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Currently, Elkan Baggott is on loan at King’s Lynn Town from Ipswich Town since early 2021.

Yunus Nusi explained, the club from Elkan Baggott considers the UAE to be a COVID-19 prone area. This factor made Elkan Baggott fail to taste the first appearance for Indonesian National team level senior.

“The club still really needs Elkan Baggott’s presence in the next matches. The club also views that the UAE is a red zone for COVID-19,” said Yunus Nusi.
