A delegation of eight young people from the Saint-Martin Badminton Club, accompanied by two coaches, went to Guadeloupe to participate in the youth open which took place on April 20 and 21 and organized by the Karukéra Sport Club of Guadeloupe.
Meeting with a French champion
The players from Saint Martin were able to face the teams from Guadeloupe who had made the trip. The Saint-Martin athletes bring back three victories. Louise Boureau-Fleming won in the women’s singles category. Fang Xi Cai and Jaikun Chen win the men’s doubles tournament. Finally, Fang Xi Cai and Louise Boureau-Fleming won in the mixed doubles category. The Saint-Martin Badminton Club would like to thank the Collectivity of Saint-Martin and its private partners for their support. The young people also met Léonice Huet, 2018 French champion, present at the tournament.
