Photography is prohibited using a DSLR in the GBK area, here’s the explanation: National Okezone

JAKARTA – In social media, there is a buzz about the prohibition of taking pictures at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) cameras digital single lens reflex (DSLR). The Ministry of State Secretariat (Kemensesneg) also provided an explanation regarding the incident.

Head of the Bureau (Karo) Public Relations (Humas) Kemensesneg Eddy Cahyono said that taking photos and videos is actually allowed. However, professional and commercial cameras must obtain a permit first.

“The point is that photos and videos in the GBK area are allowed, only the use of professional and commercial cameras must obtain a permit,” he said, Friday (21/5/2021).

He said photos and videos of a commercial nature include advertising, endorsment and pre-wedding

“Commercial photography: pre-wedding, advertisement, endorsement of top artists. But for the endorsement of MSMEs or developing local products, it is okay, because we support #BanggaBuatanIndonesia and TKDN, ”he said.

Asked how much the fee was for taking photos and videos at GBK, Eddy said that he should ask GBK. “Regarding technical matters like that, you can ask GBK. You can go online at Love GBK, if I’m not mistaken on Instagram, “he said.

Even so, he admitted that there was a misunderstanding regarding the explanation of security officers in the field. Eddy ensures that this is an input for improvement.

“The misunderstanding related to the security guard’s explanation in the field will be an input for us to improve services to the public,” he concluded.
