This show would have been banned a year and a half ago. Friday July 9, 2021, the concert hall Paris La Defense Arena at Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine) will be the scene of MMA (mixed martial arts) organized by MMA Hexagon and open to the public if sanitary conditions permit.

Banned in France until now

Until early 2020, this discipline combining various fighting techniques such as boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, wrestling, judo, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu was considered dangerous. His amateur practice was tolerated, but competitions prohibited in France.

Soon a full season?

The French champions could not compete in their own country until 2020, and the health crisis also prevented them from doing so. Some will therefore be highlighted during this summer tournament. Several fights will be organized.

The program will be made up of international athletes and French practitioners “wishing to be revealed to the world. “Ultimately, Hexagone MMA wants to organize ten competitions per year in metropolitan France and in the overseas territories, for a” full season “.
