Sports writing, May 23 (EFE) .- Mexicans Alejandra Valencia and Luis Álvarez captured the bronze medal this Sunday in the recurve bow mixed team event of the Archery World Cup that is being played in the Swiss city of Lausanne.
The Mexican duo beat Canadians Stephanie Barrett and Brian Maxwell 5-1 to secure a place on the podium.
Alejandra Valencia and Luis Álvarez finished the competition in third place, behind the Dutch Gabriela Schloesser and Sjef van Den Berg and the Bangladeshi Diya Siddique and Md Ruman Shana. EFE
