RB Leipzig defender, Ibrahima Konate, will move to Liverpool in the summer transfer market 2021.
BOLASPORT.COM – Liverpool coach, Juergen Klopp, believes that the new Reds boy, Ibrahima Konate, can immediately compete to start next season.
BolaSport.com previously reported, Liverpool inaugurated its first recruitment on the transfer market summer 2021, namely the defender from France, Ibrahima Konate, who were recruited from RB Leipzig.
Liverpool announced recruitment Ibrahima Konate on Friday (28/5/2021) through the club’s official website and social media.
Ibrahima Konate, which is brought Liverpool from the Bundesliga club, RB Leipzig, signed a long-term contract together Liverpool.
Even though the transfer was official, Ibrahima Konate can only join Juergen Klopp’s squad starting July 1, 2021, after the transfer market this year’s summer it opened.
Juergen Klopp is optimistic that Konate can immediately penetrate Liverpool’s starter in the upcoming season.
“I am very happy that Liverpool can have players like Ibrahima into the squad. “He’s a player I’ve admired for a long time, ever since I realized his potential when he was at Sochaux,” said Klopp, quoted by BolaSport.com from Goal International.
“After the injury problems on the pitch we had last season, it’s clear that we need to strengthen.”
