European Games

Every week an announcement for the European Games 2023. The program of the continental event is growing at a rapid pace. And it is surprisingly innovative. The Association of European Olympic Committees (EOC) has just unveiled a new sport for the next edition, scheduled for 2023 in Krakow and the Polish region of Małopolska: teqball. A subtle blend of football and table tennis, this meteorite-growing Hungarian invention becomes the 16th official sport of the 2023 European Games. Teqball joins 3 × 3 basketball, archery, badminton and handball beach, boxing, canoeing, cycling, karate, modern pentathlon, muaythai, padel, shooting, sport climbing, taekwondo and triathlon. The other disciplines will be announced in the coming weeks. Like padel, whose presence on the program was announced last week by the EOC, teqball had never been included in the poster of an international multisport event.
