This Thursday, May 27, the Monistrol Budo club had an appointment with two large section classes of the public primary school of Bas-en-Basset.
Since Wednesday, May 19, the practice of indoor sport is authorized with contact and as a result, the club can finally develop a cycle of 6 sessions with children of that age.
This cycle consists of an initiation into judo (or opposition games) with motor skills exercises, the discovery of the opposition through playful exercises as well as the learning of the fall, while trying to instill in them the values of moral code of this discipline.
For the occasion, the children all have a kimono offered by the club which they will return once the activity is over.
The sessions take place every Thursday until the end of the school year, from 1.45 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. and from 2.30 p.m. to 3.15 p.m.
In addition, the Monistrol Budo club will sign an agreement with the academy inspectorate which will allow it to develop its activity within the various schools and which will relieve them of many administrative procedures.
