David Alaba opened his voice for the first time after his transfer to Real Madrid was inaugurated. Alaba looks forward to his first match with Madrid.
Madrid confirmed Alaba’s arrival on Friday (28/5/2021). The Austrian passport defender was signed by Madrid on a free transfer.
Alaba left Bayern Munich after his contract expired this summer. The 28-year-old player did not renew his contract with Die Roten. Reportedly, Alaba left because Bayern management did not comply with his salary request.
By Real Madrid, Alaba is tied with a contract until 2026. According to reports from Sky Sport Italia journalist Fabrizio Romano, Alaba will be paid 12 million euros per season.

“I left one special club to join another special club. I am very happy to be part of Real Madrid,” Alaba wrote on his Twitter account, as quoted by Marca.
“After many years in Munich, I will take on this new challenge and do my best to continue the history of this special club.”
“I can’t wait to play my first match in the legendary white shirt, in front of all of you, Real Madrid fans. I am sure this experience will be full of success,” said Alaba.
During his time at Bayern, Alaba made 431 appearances in all competitions. In total, he won 27 joint titles The Reds.
Before joining Real Madrid, David Alaba will first appear in the European Cup with the Austrian national team. Alaba will then join the squad at Madrid’s training center in Valdebebas in July.
