Double great success for Bsc Grosseto in the first double game of the Serie B baseball championship. On their debut in Serie B, therefore, Stefano Cappuccini’s boys started from where they had finished last season. In fact, two victories came against Neptune 2 (11-4 in the first and 10-2 in the second challenge), the daughters of as many performances to be framed. In the first challenge the red and white have made things clear thanks to a perfect Sireus (pictured) on the hill (taken over by Breznisky, Benelli and Mega). The challenge was decided between the 2nd and 5th inning thanks to the powerful lines of Scull (two singles, a double and a triple), the expert Cuban hitter who made Piccini, Function and Tiberi run home. But the whole team expressed their best apart from a missed pass in the eighth assault when Neptune 2 scored three points. Then Nicola Mega thought about closing the accounts with a perfect relief. Little history even in the second match with Doba and Kamran protagonists on the hill. Good in attack Tiberi (3 valid), but also Function and Scull. Cappuccini also gave space to the rest of the squad.
