I have always considered it curious that ridicule is an attribute that only reaches the human being. Several images of animals in the wild, mainly males, come to mind, doing extravagant choreographies in their mating dances, but I have never perceived a hint of a sense of ridicule in them.
That is why I am fascinated by those people who have embraced the virtue of not being afraid of making a fool of themselves. They are freer and can risk more, giving them a very important strategic advantage.
Ridicule is a force that in trivial moments tries to protect us from a waterway from our subconscious to avoid error but in most cases it passively strangles us.
