Also this year, for the second consecutive year, the Emilia Romagna Indoor Regional Championship will take place in Faenza, an indoor archery competition over a distance of 18 meters. The event will be organized by the Faenza Archers Amateur Sports Association, on 6 and 7 February 2021.
The Manfreda company was awarded the organization of the regional event, for the second year in a row, thanks to the success achieved last year. In fact, the Archery Federation, given the organization of 2020, has decided to reassign the organization of the regional event to the Faenza Archers also for this year.
The shooting range will be set up inside the Palacattani, which has proved to be a perfect “location” for indoor archery, within which 35 balls can be lined up. Unfortunately, the current pandemic situation will not allow the presence of the public.
The program includes a first part of qualification for the assignment of class titles and the carrying out of a final phase for the assignment of absolute titles. The qualifying phases will be on Saturday morning starting at 9.30 and on Saturday afternoon starting at 15.30 to continue on Sunday starting at 8.00. On the afternoon of Sunday 7 February, on the other hand, direct clashes will be held with the assignment of absolute regional titles.
The organization of this important event is made possible thanks to the usual voluntary commitment of the numerous members of the ASD Arcieri Faentini, to the patronage of the Municipality of Faenza, to the support of the Cooperative Credit of Ravenna and Imola and to the manager of the Palacattani who has given us again the opportunity to use the facility.
