Good news for PSG: Neymar should indeed initial a new contract with the Parisians. Normally, the 28-year-old striker’s contract was due to end in 2022. The Auriverde star is expected to extend the adventure for four years. The information comes from Brazilian journalist Marcelo Bechler. It was he who announced the transfer of Neymar to PSG before everyone else in 2017. This announcement could be official before the end of the week according to the same source.
However, the details of this future contract are not yet known. Currently, Neymar is paid € 36M gross per year. Mbappé has still not signed a new lease which also ends in 2022.
