Manchester United are already monitoring their targets for the summer. He is Sporting’s young midfielder Pedro Goncalves.
Pedro Goncalves is only 22 years old. He was educated by Wolverhampton Wanderers in the 2017-2019 period, then returned to Portugal and strengthened Famalicao in the 2019/2020 season.
Earlier this season, Sporting brought Goncalves to his feet and performed well. He scored 12 goals and two assists in 14 appearances in the Portuguese League.
He is bound by a contract until 2025, but has a release clause worth 53 million pounds or around Rp. 1.01 trillion. Well, reportedly Manchester United is monitoring Pedro Goncalves and has no objection to making up for this clause.
Average Portugal Record reported that last month MU had opened a conversation regarding Goncalves. But there is no agreement yet.
Last year, Manchester United actually recruited two top midfielders, namely Bruno Fernandes and Donny van de Beek. However, it is thought that this is related to the future speculation of Paul Pogba.
