Many years ago, the Ciudad de Junín Club promoted the sports activity called Arqueria.
This practice was known 34 years ago when it was promoted in that institution by the Argentine Olympic Shooter, Ángel Bello. The enthusiasm was such that the Juninense de Arquería circle was formed on the Club Banco premises.
After many years, Archery was lost and now, in the beginning of 2021, this practice or sporting activity is beginning to re-float.
Given this, a two-day session has been scheduled, with Professor Raúl Vildoza, Professor in Physical Education and Archery Trainer – ETCA-, to take place on Carnival holidays, Monday, February 15 and Tuesday, February 16.
Beginners will be able to participate, from the age of 9, at no cost, and in turn, indications and explanations will be provided on the basic rules of Archery, postures of sports practice and elements necessary for its practice or development, such as bows, arrows, para-arrows, targets, and more.

It should be remembered that since the beginning of history, human beings have used archery, initially to hunt and defend themselves in war and in modern times, as a sport.
