Doctor Fauci recommends: watch the Super Bowl at home

America’s top infectious disease expert has a suggestion for avid fans of the tradition of watching the football championship final: Watch it, but at home and only with your closest loved ones.

Dr. Anthony Fauci implored citizens to refrain from organizing parties to watch the famous Super Bowl this Sunday, as this would increase the risk of contracting the coronavirus.

“Stay home quiet,” Fauci said in a televised interview on Wednesday.

The game this Sunday will be held in Tampa, Florida, between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The NFL has limited the number of people allowed in the stadium to 22,000 due to contagion risks.
