The 2022 PGA Championship will not take place at the Trump Bedminster course in New Jersey, the PGA of America, the host body of the Grand Slam golf tournament, announced on Sunday, four days after incidents by supporters of the president American in Washington.
“The PGA of America Board of Directors voted this (Sunday) evening to exercise the right to terminate the agreement to host the 2022 PGA Championship at Trump Bedminster,” its president, Jim Richardson, said in a statement posted on Twitter.
