His name is Jack Cantin, he is two years old and he handles golf clubs in such a way that he has impressed retired golfer Jack Nicklaus.
In their attempt to promote golf to kids, non-profit organisation Little Linksters organise a contest in which boys and girls from all over the world can participate.
This year, it was Cantin, a 25-month kid who idolises Tiger Woods, that went on to win the contest.
Nicklaus, professional golfer Jordan Spieth and Canadian PGA instructor Jason Helman were the judges who had to evaluate the participants’ videos and didn’t hesitate for a moment in agreeing on the winner.
Cantin’s parents Eric and Maxime sent the video being aware that their 25-month-old son had a huge chance of winning because of the extraordinary passion he has shown for playing golf.
“From the moment he gets out of his crib, he runs to his golf clubs,” said his father. “He just pulls the wedge out and just starts hitting balls.”
