The GEiEG held the ordinary assembly of partners online this Wednesday. For the first time, in legal compliance and following all health instructions. The entity approved a budget of 4,261,630 euros for this year. In a balance sheet marked by the extensive damage caused by the storm Gloria and the significant effects of the covid-19, the group entity presented a plan of economic adjustments, also assuming the effort not to raise social contributions.
The session began with the reading of the presidency report by Francesc Cayuela, who highlighted the great efforts of the entity and everyone (partners, administrations, sponsors and collaborators) and who has overcome one of the most difficult years in the history of the GEiEG. In the same way, he also wanted to thank in particular the loyalty and trust of the members who have supported the organization. The other commissions then reviewed the actions carried out during the course and the current situation.
The president thanked the trust and loyalty of all the group members, assuring that “the club closes a year in which there has been a lot of crying and, especially after the Gloria, when it seemed that we could not move forward, but thanks to the effort of all of us we have overcome it. There is still a lot of work to be done. We don’t know what will happen, nobody knows, but we will work hard for the future of the club “.
Once the assembly was over, an extraordinary call was held to validate the economic actions activated and the financial operations of the Forum building.
