Pallacanestro Brescia joins the condolences of the sports world for the death of Gianfranco ‘Dado’ Lombardi, former player, former coach and historical figure of Italian basketball.
Lombardi’s name, who passed away today at the age of 79, has been in the Italy Basket Hall of Fame since 2007 thanks to his career as a player, which has seen him twice as top scorer in the Italian league, and as a coach, with five promotions conquered in important Italian basketball squares such as Trieste, Reggio Emilia, Siena and Cantù.
