The boycott goes away but the Top 14 clubs plead for Toulon and Paris – Fil Info – European Cups

The presidents of the Top 14 met on Tuesday to discuss the question of a possible boycott of the European Cups, because of a health protocol at European level that they consider not strict enough. At the end of this meeting, the positions of the French clubs would be less clear-cut, while waiting for the EPCR to change its Covid-19 protocol, according to information from RMC Sport. On the other hand, the French presidents have shown solidarity with Stade Français Paris and RC Toulon, who had refused to play respectively against the Scarlets of Llanelli and the Blues of Cardiff. They would like the two French teams to be able to replay their match, after losing it on the green carpet.
