BOLASPORT.COM – The COVID-19 pandemic which has been going on for almost a year has apparently hit Suning very hard as the owner of the Italian League club, Inter Milan.

The impact of financial difficulties due to the previous COVID-19 pandemic has led Suning to issue various policies for Inter Milan entering 2021.

Suning has made it clear that Inter Milan has no spending budget in the January transfer market unless they first sell their players.

Suning also asked the club management to control salary expenditures by means of, among other things, loaning players out so that all or part of the wages are paid by the new club.

However, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Inter Milan’s financial situation may be even more severe than expected.

The reason is, there are rumors that Suning is now starting to consider selling Inter Milan.

The front page of the newspaper Corriere dello Sport reports that Suning has made the first move in selling Inter Milan.

President Steven Zhang is reported to have given a mandate to Rothschild & Co., one of the largest independent financial advisory groups in the world.
