Roof and court construction completed in La Piedad

LA PIEDAD, Mich., January 7, 2021.- This morning our mayor Alex Espinoza supervised the recently completed works of the sports field of Technical Secondary School No. 20, which is covered.

He recalled that after more than 15 years of remaining the roof as an abandonment and thanks to the negotiations with the state governor, Silvano Aureoles, it was possible to place the roof, which is now completely finished.

This work was carried out through the Institute of Physical Educational Infrastructure of the State of Michoacán (IIFEEM) and the cost of which was 2 million 300 thousand pesos, with which the toilets and the roofs of one of the workshops were also enabled.

Last year, construction work began on the floor on the multipurpose court at this campus, for which the State Government, through the State Social Infrastructure Fund (FISE), authorized one million pesos.

The works consisted of the demolition of 960 square meters of existing pavement in the field area, to place 963 square meters of hydraulic concrete 12 centimeters thick reinforced with electrowelded mesh, in addition to 300 square meters in the bleachers area and 736 meters of white epoxy paint 10 centimeters wide both courts, with which the badminton and volleyball area was delimited, as well as 765 meters of high-resistance blue paint, to delimit the basketball and soccer area.

Our Mayor also visited the progress of some streets such as San Luis Potosí in the Infonavit “Dr. Miguel Silva ”; Zitácuaro in the Vasco de Quiroga neighborhood; Block in the Los Moreno and Gardenias ejido in the El Cuitzillo subdivision that are under paving, with which the quality of life of the people of Piedade will be improved.
