BOLASPORT.COM – Acting (Plt) PSSI Secretary General, Yunus Nusi, said his party had asked PT LIB (Liga Indonesia Baru) to immediately prepare a schedule and format for Liga 1 2021.
PSSI has officially canceled League 1 2020 after holding a meeting with the Executive Committee (Exco) on Wednesday (20/1/2021).
This decision was well received by the clubs because at the previous meeting with PT LIB, the participants had indeed asked for the 2020 League to be completely stopped.
That way, clubs can start to focus on preparing for Liga 1 2021 and not be trapped in the 2020 season which has been stuck for 10 months.

After the decision to cancel the 2020 season, PSSI immediately asked PT LIB to immediately prepare a schedule up to the 2021 Liga 1 format.
Yunus Nusi felt that the schedule until the 2021 competition format would be a little complicated.

This is because there are several things that must be considered by PT LIB.
From the consideration of holding the SEA Games which is scheduled to take place in November until the National Sports Week (PON) which is scheduled to roll out in October 2021.
