Premier League: First win of the season for Sheffield United

On Tuesday night, the Blades won 1-0 against Newcastle thanks to a Billy Sharp goal from a penalty.

Sheffield United were helped by the two yellow card exclusion of Ryan Fraser in the 44th minute. The visited finally took the lead in the 73rd on a penalty shot by Sharp.

Despite this first success, Sheffield United is still dead last with 5 points, 9 lengths behind Brighton, the first club outside the red zone.

Only Bolton, during the 1902-1903 season, had to wait longer to take away his first success in the English Premier League. The Wanderers had to wait until Matchday 22.
