Praise for Theis after winning against Wagner and Bonga

Daniel Theis contributed with a good performance to the victory of his Boston Celtics against the Washington Wizards around his national team colleagues Isaac Bonga and Moritz Wagner in the NBA.

The Celtics prevailed 116: 107 against the Wizards, who after nine games still only have two wins and do not come into the season at all. Theis played from the start and came up with ten points, six rebounds and three assists in almost 29 minutes. “Theis had some really good moments. He had some good moves today,” said coach Brad Stevens.

Bonga only had a little over six minutes and was without a basket, Wagner converted one of his two free throws and played a little over twelve minutes after sitting on the bench for a long time.

“Mo is a worker. He measures himself, he does a lot of good things. He still has to work on controlling his fouls. But I like the way he plays. Right now we just have a few centers that are ahead of him. It there will be nights he plays and nights he doesn’t, “said coach Scott Brooks.

Boston had to do without three players who were unable to play because of the corona rules. With seven wins from ten games, the Celtics are back at the top.
