A few weeks ago, L’Equipe revealed that the health crisis had hit PSG hard, very dependent on receipts at the Parc des Princes ticket offices. Last season, the shortfall amounted to € 120 million. Next June, it should reach € 200 million. This hole in the boxes has a direct consequence on Leonardo’s life: he will have to degrease during the winter. The sports daily announces in its edition of the day that the Parisian sports director has checked the names of five players invited to leave.
Even for Paredes, it’s complicated
The five players would be Julian Draxler, Leandro Paredes, Idrissa Gueye, Ander Herrera and Thilo Kehrer. The first three being really pushed at the start while the last two will only leave in case of a good offer. Needless to say, Leonardo’s task promises to be the most complex. Indeed, neither Draxler, at the end of the contract in June, nor Gueye received an offer.
As for Paredes, he is in the sights of Inter Milan, where Antonio Conte adores him. But we learned this Saturday that the Nerazzurri were for sale, that their boxes are empty. To attract the Argentine, they have long proposed the Danish playmaker Christian Eriksen … who does not interest PSG (and would be more on the way to Valencia). An exchange is their only possibility of bringing Paredes. But this solution does not suit Paris, so that the negotiations are for the moment at an impasse.
