Judo: the Coronavirus did not spare the Visé club where “times are hard for the moment!”

Fabrice Flamand deplores both the cancellation of the Open and the injury of Malik Umayev.

The Covid-19 pandemic has not spared the world of judo and the Visé club has not escaped the rule. Its leaders were, in fact, forced to cancel the Belgian Open, traditionally organized at the end of January.

“We waited as long as possible, following the evolution of the health crisis. But, in mid-December, we had to face the facts that our competition had become impossible to organize. And we took the collegial decision, with the Francophone Federation and the city, to cancel! “, explains Fabrice Flamand, coach at the club and in charge of the omnisports hall in Visét.
