Jean-Yves La Chevre Deslauriers Wednesday January 27th 2021, death notice, obituaries, necrology

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean-Yves “La Chèvre” Deslauriers at the age of 59, following a long and difficult fight against cancer. He was a loving Father and Grandpa, as well as a devoted friend. He enjoyed playing hockey and baseball, in addition to being an outdoorsman.
He will be sadly missed by his beloved Renée; her children: Jess (Eric), Cory and Justin (Mikayla); her stepchildren: Kimberly (Dillon), Célina (Nick) and Stéfanie (Gavin). He was the loving Grandpa of Brayden, Destiney and Endréa.
His mother, Ghislaine, also survives him; his brothers and sisters: Pierrette, Suzanne, Ghislain, Jules, Luce; several nieces and nephews; as well as his dogs: Simba and Tanner. He was predeceased by his father, Pierre, and his brother Luc.
The family would especially like to thank the Victorian Order nurses of Canada who provided him with good care, and for their patience when he tried to be funny.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family will be grateful for donations to Ronald McDonald House or any children’s charity.
