Italian media: AC Milan vs Juventus match was damaged by the referee

KOMPAS.com – The leadership of referee Massimilano Irrati in the AC Milan vs Juventus match last night was in the spotlight.

Some Italian media even gave poor ratings of the referee from Florence’s performance in the party.

The Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport gives a value of 4.5 to Irrati, while Tuttosport only 4.

Irrati is judged to have made many detrimental decisions in great match week 16 of the 2020-2021 Italian League.

Irrati’s first mistake was not canceling AC Milan’s first goal scored by Davide Calabria.

In fact, before the goal occurred, Hakan Calhanoglu clearly violated Adrien Rabiot.

Second, AC Milan should have won a penalty at the last minute after Rabiot brought down Brahim Diaz.

However, Irrati did not flinch. The 41-year-old court rector continued the match.

Not only Irrati, VAR referee Daniele Orsato was also criticized. He is considered not to have much help Irrati in making decisions.

There was one moment when Rodrigo Bentancur fouled Samu Castillejo. Bentancur was deemed deserving of a second yellow card at the time, but VAR didn’t work.

AC Milan vs Juventus duel at the San Siro, Thursday (7/1/2021) early morning WIB, ended with a score of 1-3.

One AC Milan goal scored by Davide Calabria was responded to by three by Juventus through the braces of Federico Chiesa and Weston McKennie.
