Donny van de Beek Ngambek to MU?

Donny van de Beek has yet to get the chance to appear more at Manchester United. The Dutch player was reportedly disappointed with his situation.

Van de Beek joined United at the start of this season. The 23-year-old midfielder was recruited by the Red Devils from Ajax Amsterdam with a tag of 40 million pounds.

Since being brought to Old Trafford, Van de Beek has only appeared 10 times in the Premier League. He has mostly been played by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer from the bench, and has only made two appearances as a starter.

Not only that, Van de Beek was not even given the opportunity to play when MU underwent a boxing day match. He only played again as a substitute when the Red Devils fell 0-2 from Manchester City in the Premier League Cup on Thursday (7/1/2021).

The lack of playing hours at Manchester United reportedly made Donny van de Beek furious. Launch Mirror, the midfielder who graduated from Jong Ajax did not even want to give an interview because he was cranky with his club.

Van de Beek’s disappointment with MU is of course reasonable. He is in danger of losing his position in the Dutch national team in the 2020 European Cup, if he loses a lot of time playing at the club.

Ronald de Boer, coach of the Dutch national team, has even warned Van de Beek of his current situation at MU. Van de Beek was urged to immediately ask Solskjaer for clarity on his status in the Red Devils squad.

“The 2020 European Cup is coming, he definitely wants to be there. It would be better for him to discuss with the club what they want with him,” De Boer told AD, as quoted Mirror.

“If he doesn’t have time to play, he will have to ask for loan or even for sale,” he said of Donny van de Beek’s situation at Manchester United.
