The INDE methodologist, Sergio Javier Pérez, stressed that this evaluation, carried out last Wednesday at the dam, helps them to verify the proper orientation of the training load.
During the control, he indicated, the lactate concentration in the blood was measured, at rest at 45 seconds and two minutes after the end of the test.
“With these high intensity training sessions, the athlete’s body is taught to use lactic acid as fuel and not to fall into metabolic acids, which limits the athlete’s performance,” said Sergio Pérez. ‘
After carrying out the control with the canoeing athletes, he commented that in the following they will be with the representatives of the sports associated wrestling, judo, fencing and karate, sports from Baja California that aspire to the first Pan American Junior Games.
