The Manchester City team won the United team in the city derby on Wednesday, reaching the English Football League (EFL) Cup final.

“City” celebrated the victory in the opponent’s field with the result 2: 0 (0: 0).

The visitors had a clear control over the ball, but as a result it managed to turn it into the 50th minute, when after the free kick John Stones put the foot on the ball, who reached 1: 0.

Eight minutes before the end, Fernandinjo was able to score the equalizing goal to make it 1 – 1 when Fernandinjo picked up a pass coming in from the right and chipped it past the away team’s keeper.

“It’s not exactly the UEFA Champions League, but reaching the finals for four years in a row is impressive,” said City head coach Joseph Guardiola after the victory.

The City game was greeted in mourning, as team legend Colin Bells passed away on Tuesday. The Guardsola-led team could not play in the optimal lineup because the club was hit by a Covid-19 outbreak.

In the Manchester City finals on April 25 at Wembley Stadium, they will meet with Tothenburg’s “Hotspur”, who beat the second league team “Brentford” 2: 0 in the second semifinal on Tuesday.

Last season, the Aston Villa in Birmingham was beaten 2: 1 by the City of Manchester in the final.
