BG Göttingen against Vechta on Friday, Turudic to the MBC

Not only the game of BG Göttingen against Brose Bamberg will be postponed due to the upcoming bomb disposal on Godehardstraße – the game against Rasta Vechta has now also been rescheduled.

Weißenfels / Göttingen – The Lower Saxony duel scheduled for Sunday, January 24th, will now be brought forward to Friday, January 22nd (7pm). The reason for the postponement is the broadcast of MagentaSport, so that the games of the match day are evenly distributed from Friday to Sunday.

Back in Weißenfels

Benedikt Turudic has returned to his previous club after his three-month engagement with Bundesliga basketball team BG Göttingen and a temporary break. The Mitteldeutsche BC has put the center back under contract, which is initially limited to mid-February. However, the club has an option to extend the contract until the end of the season.

Turudic had helped out at the BG in the first four competitive games because the regular center Dennis Kramer had sustained a foot injury and was not in the preparation phase. “I am happy to be able to play on the Bundesliga floor again, in the Wolves jersey”, quoted the “Mitteldeutsche Zeitung” Turudic. “I’ve already had four wonderful years here.”

While Turudic is playing again at MBC in Weissenfels, the club parted ways with AJ Brodeur, whose contract expires in mid-January. (haz / gsd)
