Once, not twice. Last Tuesday, the GET Vosges left empty-handed from its trip to Alsace after having been very close to victory on the floor of Mulhouse BA. Yesterday, further north, in Kaysersberg, Laurent Mathis’s men did what was necessary to avoid a seventh defeat this season. But not without fear.
A common thread this season if we remember the enormous waste of Gigant and his teammates: Chartres, Pont-de-Chéruy, Caen, Mulhouse… At this time, Laurent Mathis’s men could, should even, count a few more victories . But each time, they have shown leniency with their opponents. Eternal regrets …
In Kaysersberg, the specter of a new mess hovered, despite the first 23 minutes one way. After a balanced start to the match, where the Redikas-Walter pair, author of the first 19 “KB” points, competed with the clearly more established Vosges workforce (19-18, 8th), the acceleration was brutal. In seven minutes, the GET passed a scathing 24-2 to its host totally overwhelmed on both sides of the floor by the speed printed by Razanamahenina and others.
With a Bouloukouet in the lead (14 points at the break) and a mark admirably well distributed, the threat was too diffuse to be stopped. Half-time was reached with a mattress of 18 points which gave plenty to see (37-55, 20th).
A return of the Winegrowers seemed very unlikely, especially as the GET continued to quietly unroll its basketball. At 39-64 (23rd) we were even heading for a juicy basket average for the future.

Five long minutes not to find any more offensive solutions before Diop finally scores a basket. A 17-0 (56-64, 29th) under the impetus of the same Haut-Rhin snipers.
The start of the last quarter showed that the excitement had changed sides. And the visitors owed only to the Alsatian awkwardness of always being in front (67-71, 35th; 72-73, 37th). But when they were in the process of once again letting a success that was promised to them escape, the Vosges found the resources to keep the reins of the game.
Worn by a Bouloukouet in boss mode and taking all the offensive responsibilities (34 points in total,).
An important success that could have been much easier. Focus now on the trip to Andrézieux on the 4the in a row, in a week. The reception of Orchies on Tuesday having been postponed (see below).
